Baker

Company Overview:

Superior Grocers is seeking a Baker to produce bakery goods and related products in an efficient and timely manner. This role ensures the bakery department contributes to the store's financial success while focusing on customer service, product quality, and consistency. Bakers play a key role in preparing fresh baked goods that meet company standards and customer expectations.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Follow the daily production list to prepare key bakery items for the current and next day.
• Ensure bakery goods are prepared efficiently and in compliance with company policy.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work area at all times.
• Focus on delivering excellent customer service and supporting store profitability.
• Assist with other bakery-related duties as assigned by management.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Experience in bakery production or related food preparation preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes, instructions, and production lists accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment.

Compensation:

• Pay range: $17.87 $22.00 per hour.
