Role and Responsibilities:

The Bakers Assistant is responsible for delivering excellent customer service and supporting the daily operations of the bakery. Key responsibilities include:

• Provide outstanding customer assistance by greeting and supporting customers with bakery-related inquiries
• Assist the department manager in meeting sales and profitability goals
• Maintain bakery displays by restocking, organizing, and rotating products to ensure freshness and visual appeal
• Follow company guidelines for packaging and labeling baked goods
• Comply with quality, food safety, and sanitation standards
• Regularly check product freshness and remove items that do not meet quality standards
• Support inventory control, procurement, and product presentation according to instructions
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment according to company standards

• Prior experience in a bakery, deli, or food service environment
