As a Distribution Partner II, you will help ensure store teams have the products they need and contribute to the overall success of the Warehouse team.
Role and Responsibilities:
As a Distribution Partner II, you will perform general warehouse operations and order selection while supporting facility goals, safety standards, and productivity metrics.
- Select cases of products and organize them on pallets for shipment to stores.
- Prioritize accuracy, quality, and safety in all work assignments.
- Perform tasks in compliance with work instructions and proactively address safety concerns.
- Assist other Partners by sharing knowledge of processes, procedures, and facility-specific information.
- Complete work assignments efficiently to support on-time trailer releases and facility productivity goals.
- Operate equipment according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to prevent damage.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Order Selectors: Select orders (Full case, Flow, Pick-to-belt, Palletizer) accurately and mark/tag shipments correctly.
- Forklift Operators: Handle products from assigned slots accurately and safely.
- Loaders: Load products in an organized, damage-free manner.
- Automated Distribution: Manage end-to-end process flow safely, contributing to a clean, organized environment.
- Stocking: Open master cases, verify products, and fill selection lanes for pick-to-light selection.
Required Skills and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a fast-paced or physically demanding environment preferred.
- Strong organization skills with attention to detail.
- Basic math skills (+, -, *, /), reading, and writing skills.
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team-based environment and promote positive change.
- Ability to operate machines or equipment safely and independently.
- Ability to learn and understand in-house systems with little supervision.
- Dependability and commitment to safety.
Physical and Other Requirements:
- Lift, stand, walk, and squat for extended periods.
- Repetitively lift up to 60 lbs for the duration of a shift.
- Work in cold environments, if assigned to refrigerated or frozen facilities.
- Work extended shifts and flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
