Role and Responsibilities:

As a Shift Manager at Popeyes, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that every guest receives an exceptional dining experience. You will lead by example, provide guidance to your team, and ensure operational excellence while embodying the spirit of Cajun hospitality.   • Greet guests enthusiastically while accurately taking and processing their orders and transactions.

  • Ensure cleanliness and orderliness in dining spaces, bathrooms, and exterior areas.
  • Follow all safety and health regulations to ensure a safe working environment for employees.
  • Have a thorough understanding of the menu and the company's core principles to effectively assist customers.
  • Regularly inspect food quality and temperature to ensure it remains safe and fresh.
  • Manage inventory reception and stocking to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Be punctual and reliable for scheduled shifts, maintaining consistent attendance.
  • Create a supportive team environment by demonstrating integrity and transparency in all actions.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum age requirement of 18 years.
  • Able to handle responsibilities in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Willingness to learn all aspects of restaurant operations and work in different areas.
  • Flexible availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Ability to lift items up to 50 pounds occasionally and frequently lift up to 15 pounds or more.
  • Capability to transport items weighing up to 60 pounds.
  • Frequent standing, kneeling, bending, and lifting are required during tasks like food prep, stocking, and cleaning.
  • Regular use of cash registers and kitchen equipment.
  • Proficiency in opening and closing doors, coolers, and storage compartments as part of routine tasks.
  • Effective communication with colleagues and customers during work hours.
